The experience-based SSI Advanced Adventurer Certification is designed to give divers a taster of five specialty areas of diving, which can then be developed with further training depending on individual divers’ interests.

On board Aggressor Fleet and Dancer Fleet boats a combination of up to 12 different specialities will reportedly be available, depending on the destination. These include Night Diving, Shark Diving, Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Boat Diving, U/W Naturalist, U/W Navigation, Perfect Buoyancy, Nitrox, Computer Diving, Scooter Diving, and Digital Photography.

“The Advanced Adventurer certification fits right in with the liveaboard lifestyle we offer,” says Wayne Hasson, president of Aggressor and Dancer Fleets. “Our guests are already doing these dives each week and this new program creates a way to document those dives and offer credit for those dive experiences.”

Owned by the same parent company, Aggressor and Dancer boats offer liveaboard cruises in a wide range of mainstream and specialist dive destinations, from the Caribbean to Raja Ampat.
