Sure, a mens diving watch has a functional element to it, but I surely do love it´s cool image of extreme sportiness, adventure, progress, risk taking and a sense of relaxed self-confidence. Please check the below review of the best mens dive watches with the best value for money below $100 (OK I added the more expensive Citizen, just because it´s such a great looking watch)..
.
No.1
Verdict:

Bottom line: This Casio Sea analog illuminator mens diving watch offers all the convenience and durability of a sports watch, with an adaptable style well suited for a work day.
The large round dial is black with white and luminous indexes, two luminous hands, and a red arrow-tipped seconds hand. The black stainless steel bezel offers additional Arabic numeral and dot indexes and a one-way rotation to make timing easy.
The bezel’s distinctive cog-like edge also gives the watch a stylishly industrial edge. The date displays subtly at four o’clock, and a super illuminator light makes this mens diving watch easy to read at any time.
The band is made out of rugged black resin with a buckle clasp. This analog quartz powered timepiece is water resistant up to 660 feet (200 meters) and offers a battery life of approximately three years. This CASIO men´s diving watch is a great bargain watch with a stiff, lousy strap.
However, change the strap for a silicone one, and you have a $200 dive watch that you can live life in and not worry about ruining. First off, it looks great on the wrist.
I leave it on at the amusement park, while washing the car, and the pool/beach. If you are in or near reading glasses range, it’s very readable, and the light is great at the movies, et al. When yo have kids, it gets whacked on the crystal a lot, but so far, no scratches. You could spend a lot more, but why bother? |
No.2
Verdict:

Bottom line: Already within a couple of hours after I got this mens diving watch I was totally impressed with the quality and comfort. And with it´s size. It´s Big.
The dial is truly impressive at night with the oval and Arabic numerals glowing bright green. Strap is a little short and could use an additional inch or so, but I am able to wear it on the last hole in the strap. This is my 4th Invicta men diving watch and I’m sold on their quality and workmanship. |

No.3
Verdict:

Bottom line: For this price, it difficult to find a better watch. This is a solid stainless steel watch waterproof to withstand 200 meters. It has a scratch resistant mineral crystal and a workhorse under the hood.
I bought this watch for $99 and have no regrets. It feels heavy and the bracelet is well made. If you want a Rolex
look alike with a performance to match , this is the watch. Another version with coin edge bezel is available, but it cost a little bit more. This is the watch that made people wonder if Rolex watches are really worth the money. |
No.4
Verdict:

Bottom line: I’ve taken this watch hiking, camping, and night snorkeling/spearfishing. Nothing fancy, just a solid, rugged, dependable time piece.
Finally, after many many years of use, the battery is finally going south and the LCD fades dramatically whenever I use the backlight. But the cost vs use ratio has been unbeatable compared to my other watches. |
No.5
Verdict:

Bottom line:
I can honestly say that I have a small number of mens diving watches in my collection, and believed that I had reached my peak on finding watches that really caught my eye. But this was one mens diving watch that I had already been eyeing for quite a while. I had to buy it, and I did. And it is stunningly beautiful. One of the most attractive watches that I have.
I travel for work and the dual time zone (Local Time) feature is super. I change the time to my destination when I enter the plane and I can then use the destination local time for my arrival and other appointments.
The hands are easy to read in most light conditions. The band is very comfortable.
The Solar Feature keeps the need for a battery replacement a distant possibility. The quartz movement is very accurate.
I do not use the alarm feature much, but it’s available if desired.
I highly recommend this watch!! |

There are numerous features identified on a diver watch that vary in between watch makers, but all genuine diver watches ought to comply with the ISO 6425, meaning that you can find features which might be standard on all divers watches. Here is a list of several of them:
Watch Case
The case of a diving watch must be tougher than the case of a typical sports watch as it must be in a position to withstand the extreme water pressure and corrosiveness of seawater. Diver watch cases are typically created out of materials that possess these qualities such as ceramics, synthetic resins, stainless steel, titanium and plastics. Additionally, the case need to defend the internal workings of the watch from shocks and magnetic influences.
Elapsed time controller or Rotating Bezel
All analog diver watches feature a rotating bezel that only turns 1 way. The bezel is employed to measure the elapsed time of a dive from a distinct point in time. To use the bezel on a diver watch, turn until it aligns the zero using the watch’s minute hand. As the dive progresses, the elapsed time can be read from the bezel, saving a scuba diver from the want to perform mental arithmetic in their head.
The reason a bezel ought to only turn one way is so as not to inadvertedly boost the perceived lenght of time of the dive. Numerous modern day diver watches with 15 or 20 minute markings on their bezels have copied the Rolex bezel design that was common back within the 1950s. Divers back then would plan their dives according to US Navy dive tables, diving according to the planned dive profile. The bezel is only utilized on analog dive watches, digital dive watches perform this function using an internal personal computer amongst their many other features like depth guage and logging.
Strap/bracelet
A diver watch features a silicone rubber, polyurethane, rubber or metal strap bracelet which is of adequate lenght to wear over a bulky wet suit sleeve. Several bracelets function a concealed extension deplyment clasp that can exted the size of the bracelet by an suitable quantity when needed.
Crown
The crown is often a sensitve location of a diver watch, that could easily flood with out a mechanism to make it water resistant. Many diver watch crowns are essential to be screwed in when diving and unscrewed to make adjustments towards the date, time or other watch settings. Screw-down locking crowns and crowns which are traditionally operated can not be used underwater.
